Because it's easy to blame your problems on someone else, whether they are of your own making or not. And immigrants/foreigners are the perfect scapegoat.

Poverty makes people vulnerable to right-wing propaganda. It's the same reason why so many Palestinians support Hamas.
However, it's also the fault of the Left for not doing a better job condemning anti-white racism when they see it.

@whowasthatmaskedman Yeah, the Left doesn't say groups of people are the problem, the Left says the system is the problem. Whereas the Right says the system is fine, it's just that this one group of people came along and ruined everything.
