What has your experience been of staying with a bunch of people from a different country, culture, race etc?

Staying with Americans, Canadians, Brits and a few Aussies was decent. There were cliques and their sense of humour and timing of jokes was different. They also felt I spoke a bit fast. There was no racism, but groupism. They’re a fun bunch of people, but I did feel isolated. I interacted mainly with some Germans and Austrians. Overall, the isolation made me want to get back home sooner, but I learned to be confident being alone and it made me prouder of my roots and my own country, India
