I've encountered a few who've made obviously racist remarks and who've used hate speech.
When I see something like that I instantly flag it to the moderators.
After that I avoid them.
I did once say something that someone took as racist.
What I said was careless and stupidly ambiguous.
I apologised and then edited and clarified the post.
