Have you every dated a new race/ethnicity or do you stick to what you are attracted too ? Or having something new exciting?

I can tell it's time for me to get some sleep!
Meeting someone and getting to know the person is already new and exciting.
Race.... color, etc... why is that always a big deal?
Seems to me people place way too much importance on physical looks rather than what a person has to offer due to character.
