@Threepio What if you have to pay extra taxes to pay for teachers in darkest Africa?
@SisterChaos I don't live in darkest Africa, so that doesn't apply to me.
However, I do contribute financially to distant family in SE Asia to allow them to attend better schools/colleges. I do this knowing that education is the key that turns on the economic engine... and they all are aware of my belief that once they graduate and establish themselves, they need to also "pay it forward".
As far as taxes where I live.... the school board asks for overrides if more $$ is needed and I'm fine with that for the most part as taxes here are pretty low, relatively speaking.
