I'm getting Lineco glue imported from the US! =D
I have started making my own notebooks, and the glue is so important because otherwise the whole thing will fall apart in years. I was super lucky to find this listing on Prom, because it isn't sold anywhere in Ukraine officially (the name Lineco wasn't even in the title). The seller just now called and told me it'll be travelling from the US for two weeks, which honestly makes me happy to hear since it makes it less likely to be a dupe. Now I just have to wait, but I can already write, paint, and bind the signatures together meanwhile.
I have decided to go with a simple method of sewing together the signatures, gluing them to each other and the cardboard cover, and instead of a spine I'll glue fabric to the cardboard, so that it stays flexible enough to open completely flat. I intend to add a leather cover in time, but I'll simply use elastic cord to hold the notebook inside the leather cover, so that I can always remove it again if I need to for any reason. ^^
