Nice work! This is lovely work aesthetically. You have a natural eye for design and all things tapestry. I used to love taking items found in a thrift shop and repurposing them into something else. My now cat bench in my main window is also a book stand, that becomes an end table if I have company. It was once a bench seat for a vanity desk. I built upon the frame below the seat and surfaced it with a simple red vinyl, and if I ever needed another seat I kept the original seat that will happily sit in place.

With working with my hands, I admire carpenters, picture framers, but my hands have less attention than my eyes. I'm better with idea and design, with a penchant in my heart saying, David, you know what you love, you know some of what you are good with, it's time to turn that into a practice.
