I Am Creative

I have mentioned about trying to achieve perfection, it doesn't mean that you're perfect!.
It's a mind set. When you are so detail orientated, and you notice how advanced camera work, like modes, settings, functions, and animations have achieved the next level. Its kind of the same thing?..why go back a few steps?. I bring up camera work first, because of my passion for Wildlife Photography. But adjusting focus, framing the subject, the composition of everything..I always want to venture out and try to get a perfect shot. And when it comes to painting it?...I was told by an artist in the family "If you're going to paint it to a point, take a photograph!"...And this was in my late teens just after doing art in Secondary School. I still have a basic need to get things on point, I have a format with rhythm in my poetry, Always painting on point...or if sculpturing an animal from clay, using a carving tool to mark each bit of fur...
But in painting, it doesn't seem like the right way, it doesn't catch on, it seems like a false example of what painting should be. I think back to that "If you're going to paint it to a point, take a photograph!"...People want art..I find it difficult to be spontaneous, at first you're laying the first marks down, and testing markings, in a spontaneous way remember?..so outside proportions, thinking outside of the box?, being different...And at the early stages of a piece..you don't know whether to trust yourself 🤣...
