Spotted this contraption on the freeway yesterday 👀

@MellyMel22 I can respect them in an SUV as long as it's 4x4. It's only when I see a 2 wheel drive SUV on big ass wheels that I question "why, sir?" 😅

@ChiefJustWalks how do you know it's a two wheel drive on the road?

My Chevy trailblazer was a full 4x4! The markings were gone. Of course I didn't have tires like those.

Heck I've had a sheriff ask if it was a 4x4 because of snow. And I was just waiting.

I nearly bought a Chevy Tahoe 4x4 with footsteps just like that. Didn't because it broke down on the test drive.

@DeWayfarer that's the thing, you can't always tell just by looking 😅 I'm pretty knowledgeable about vehicles & their specific chassis' though so I typically know which ones are FWD vs RWD & which ones offer 4x4 as well. So if I can't tell by the markings or badges alone then I can only assume that it's still 4x4 unless I ask.

I looked into 4x4 trailblazers a few years ago back when I wanted a 4wd suv. It was either that or a GMC Envoy but I ended up getting a Honda Accord instead 😂

@ChiefJustWalks there's not much reason you could not set up your Honda Accord like that. Just think, you would be the baddest vato in your town!

@Punches oh I don't have that Honda anymore either 😅 but nooooo I would definitely not lift one.. or put hydros on one either @DeWayfarer 😂 I'd slap a turbo into it & make it a sleeper lol
