Still Polluted After The Tar Plant Vacated 65 Years Ago.
Caerphilly Mountain is massive it also stores a tremendous amount of water, a Brook suddenly appears from a limestone rock, up until 1930 this Brook near my home was freshwater there were fish living in it, according to my late Grandparents.
In 1930 a Commercial business started up a Tar Plant which contaminated land by the Brook, this company left Caerphilly in 1959 all their buildings were demolished there's nothing left to say this industrial plant was ever there bar for the land they left contaminated, and the contaminated Brook which flows into the Rhymney River into Cardiff then into the Bristol Channel.
The Brook is still Brown even after sixty five years have passed since the Tar Plant disappeared.
