I Live In Wales

We are a small independent country. We are leaving the European Union at 23.00 tonight and everyone who cares about my country is leaving the UK at the same time. Cofiwch Dryweryn

One thing I cannot understand is why the English want to continue in a union with Wales and Scotland. We would be far better off without these two mendicant states. A hard border along the Welsh Marches and along Hadrian's wall would dramatically increase the individual wealth of the 53,000,000 English people. Wales' net fiscal balance – the difference between total public spending for Wales and estimated public revenue – amounts to a deficit of £13.7 billion, or 19.4% of estimated GDP - funded by the English. Scotland is not much better at £14.1 billion (8.5% of GDP). Outside of Westminster, readers would be amazed hoe popular Wexit and Scexit are.

@angela2106 I think England would miss the free water we get from Wales and the security Scotland provides us with. Apart from that, I agree. England for the English.
Unfortunately, we have not been alone since about 1296 so I don't know how we would get on.
