Dr. Dan Diker, President of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, is sounding the alarm over Venezuela’s growing role in global terrorism and its deep ties to Iran and Hezbollah. In an interview with Arutz Sheva–Israel National News, Diker describes Venezuela as a strategic terror hub operating at the heart of Latin America.
According to Diker, the Chavez and Maduro regimes enabled billions of dollars in Iranian terror financing, granting Iranian officials citizenship and visa-free access while facilitating Hezbollah’s operations across the region — from drug trafficking to arms and terror financing along the Brazil-Argentina-Paraguay tri-border area.
Diker also rejects claims that U.S. actions against Venezuela are driven by oil alone, arguing instead that this is part of a broader struggle against a global “axis of evil” led by Iran, Russia, and China.
