International law has been doing what the US wants for too long. This is because Europe has been lazy and expected the US to pick up the defence bill.
The result is unbalanced extradition agreements, unbalanced banking agreements and unbalanced share trading.
Until Europe is capable of saying no to the US nothing will change.
