Is the United Nations about as much good as the League of Nations was?

It has a unique impediment for any good to come from it. The veto of USA, 🇺🇸 Uk 🇬🇧, France 🇫🇷, China 🇨🇳 and Russia 🇷🇺. Russia is the heir of the veto rights given the Soviet Union.
