Retaliatory Armed Conflicts

The common denominator for humanity lies somewhere beyond the heavens. The perplexing question all governments must ask in light of all the retaliatory armed conflicts nations always turn to is can man focus their energy and their resources to preserve the future for all of mankind? The retaliatory armed conflicts that have always been the major influencer in recorded history have always come about when nations internal struggles don't equate to a balance society or when leaders sought to gain more power, control and wealth at the expense of their own populations or other nations. And in some instances, retaliatory armed conflicts arise when leaders seek revenge. In every case the populations of nations always are the ones that suffer the most.

In recorded history the world survived in a better place as a result of armed conflict and in other times the world became much darker. Today the flash points in Ukraine and in Israel are the net results of when leaders of nations who are directly involved seek justification for the actions and reactions using armed aggression to solve their differences. Who provoked the crisis to begin with have had a blind eye of what really matters in our world. In fact, every government are not utilizing all the man has invented for the purpose of creating balance in societies where nations will no longer use armed aggression to solve their differences.

The United States could have intervened first in Ukraine before Russia even contemplated using armed intervention. And now with the crisis in Israel turning into a full-blown international conflict where in both instances will send the world into a catastrophe is nothing short of belligerent disregard for the future of our world. It is as though governments have failed to remember the quote that General MacArthur told the world back in 1945 that " Mankind had better find a way to solve their differences or Arrageddon will be right on our doorstep" Yet governments continue to use armed retaliatory measures every chance they get.

We are seeing the results today by governments constant failure to heed not only the lessons that history is supposed to teach us but their failure to understand what MacArthur was warning the world about at the signing of Japan's surrender following World War II. The world is that much closer to Armageddon because of this. Civilizations and empires have succumbed to internal conflicts, the ravages of natural disasters, and the devises of technology. All have been repeated through-out the course of history.

It has been the failure of man to realize that our world is precariously close to that final confrontation. Whether we choose to accept this fact or not dictates our future. Will mankind survive our own inadequacies, or will all humanity die in a blaze of either retaliatory confrontations or will we be able to confront our inadequacies and find amicable solutions? We have to realize that a common denominator exists for all.

When we have a world where societies are free from want, free from worry, and free from fear where there is balance in every aspect of society and where leaders use all that man has devised for the betterment of humanity will mankind be able to understand that common denominator binds us all. Our future and our planet depend on our understanding we are all brothers of man. With every advance of science and technology mankind will be able to bridge the gaping holes is societies and protect our planet.

Very laudable - but trying telling that to all the petty dictators and their henchmen around the world.
