I must've got so distracted watching Ukraine that I've missed the military buildup that's got Argentina missiles, carrier strike groups, 5th gen fighter jets, submarines and ICMBs with nuclear payloads outnumbering the British counterpart
@Elessar That's my point. If any first world country could lose with such an apparent advantage, it would be failing nation like the UK. They aren't ready for any sort of serious engagement, because it's a total mess with more arrogance than sense.
The irony is Mrs Thatcher was apparently on the verge of essentially signing over the territory to the Argies. She was fed up with them. If Galtieri hadn’t invaded then the Falkland Islands would probably be a historical footnote by now, like Rhodesia
