People who have flown to a UK airport and then gone to the centre of the city, have you been surprised at all the South Asians and Africans?

Completely shocked. I had to lie down and put a cold compress on my head until I recovered. I was expecting the whole city to look just like Bridgerton.

UK cities have very mixed ethnic populations. Most of those I see are 3rd/4th generation British nationals, or tourists and students. I think foreign visitors to the UK who think TV and film costume dramas reflect the modern UK will be surprised. If they watch contemporary screen drama they won't.
