(UK) Two men in hoodies asked me for my street name and house number and also if i lived alone. Is this normal?
I was unwell so I was sitting inside a bike shelter eating food. I was a woman in her early twenties on her own, and these two white men in their late twenties came up and asked me if i was ok, and if I wanted to chat, they're just round the side. One was wearing a grey cap + grey tracksuit and trainers, other was wearing a darker coloured one and didn't have a cap. they then asked me questions, like, are you homeless? do you live round here, what street, house number? i went vague and said i live just down the street. then they said, you live alone? I said no, I live with several other people. My home is actually a couple street names away. after this, they gave me what i can only describe as something like a therapy session, since i was feeling fed up with my health at the time. one of them tried to relate to me by saying he had issues in life too, with his ex. they said we're here every day, and also that they've seen me before. it was an afternoon on a weekday. i never did see them again even though i went to that chip shop every other day. a while ago i saw one of those men again, he was on a bike riding down the street and this was a minute away from my house. he was staring right at me while squinting with that scowly face he had except this time he didnt have a hood or a cap on. he stared for five or six seconds maybe, then rode past without doing or saying anything. I'm just wondering if this behaviour is normal on an estate? thanks

Also this is probably unrelated, but six days ago i ordered a chinese and it was a new delivery guy i never saw before. I have not seen this man before, he was not one of the men I saw before. mid twenties, he was dressed in a similar fashion to the men i saw and he was wearing a black nike baseball cap at night and had it down so i couldnt see his face much. black tracksuit and he was wearing a gold chain and was white. the woman on the phone undercharged so i needed some more pennies. i said wait, ill get more. i shut the middle door but the front door was open. took me ten or fifteen seconds to get more pennies. my mum has a ring doorbell and she woke up after an hour and replayed the doorbell footage to me showing that while i was getting money from my room, he was looking in the porch at the tns and at one point he stepped inside the porch which is actually inside our house, and his face got close to the middle door. He was shifting his head a lot. by the time i got there he was outside again. this is a few months after i saw that other guy on the bike again.
My first encounter with the two men was in 2023, but as I highlighted in my post, I saw one of those two men again just a few months ago, and had a delivery driver who had a similar vibe act strangely.
Here's a timeline of the strange encounters:
April 2023: Those 2 men approach me at the chip shop. They invite me round the side of the shop for a chat. They ask me some weird questions and then they acted like therapists. They said "we're here every day" but I never saw them again.
January 2026: I see one of those men again, the one in the grey tracksuit, but he had no cap on or hood up this time. Looked early 30s by this point. He had this scowling and squinty face, staring as he rode down the street. For 5-6 seconds. He passed by without saying anything. I felt like he would yell "why are you looking at me for?".
6th April 2026: Weird delivery guy who had a similar age and vibe to those two men acting odd while I was getting more money because I was undercharged.
Am I overreacting?
