Those who know about UK law, why was a woman jailed for paying someone else to take her speeding points while many people are not jailed for GBH?

In the wrong hands a motor vehicle can be a lethal weapon.
So we have strick rules around motoring.

Then again you could also ask why the maximum sentence for theft appears to be longer than the maximum for rape. Does that seem right?

@MrAverage1965 No, do you know about the law?

@HollowayRoadN19 I read the news I see the sentences that a given for various offences

I just checked on line and
Domestic Burglary: Maximum sentence is 14 years' imprisonment.
Robbery: Can be punished with life imprisonment.
Fraud: Maximum sentence is 10 years' imprisonment.

In the news today

An asylum seeker who abducted and raped a 12-year-old girl has been given a 16-year sentence.

It seems the sentence for robbery in longer.
