A good question. Wife has a Rolex and a Cartier. And I dont think any of my gift watches have papers..I suppose when they come up for sale there will be a way to authenticate them...😷

@HollowayRoadN19 I dont know.. They were all gifts presented to me while I was working. Its a cultural thing in some countries. But I am sure a reputable watch maker can certify them as genuine. Anyway. That will be my estates problem. Maybe the auctioneer will have a person....😷
