"As we have agreed settlement of your claim, we have arranged for your vehicle to be disposed of by the salvage company" when it was a scratch?

If you haven't agreed to their offer the car is still yours, if then they authorise scrapping, it's theft, even a verbal agreement is enough as they record all calls. I won a major compensation battle with my son's insurance company and they decided to settle out of court 👍
