In the UK why do English people do half the job or no job?

I mean all other Foreigners will pop in the work overlooking H&S regulations OR not make excuses and do as they're told.

As an example say u have a 57' TV needs putting in a 1.2 litre car, where the back seats can be thrown fwd down. It is possible but two factors! 1. Driver will have rear view mirror blocked. 2. Width wise the package will pop on top of the headrests, so will make an uncomfortable journey.

Now, if it were White staff members they would take one look, MIGHT attempt to put package in the car (if you're lucky). Instead they would return the package in store and insist u either bring a bigger vehicle OR arrange for delivery.

Whereas NON-Whites will pop in package in car, keep trying n say to u "It's in, but expect an unpleasant journey back."

More examples - White Engineers not putting in plug sockets where u tell them they make excuses, not taking away a product as they find ONE NON COMPLICATED fault in the product (British Heart Foundation not taking your old cabinet as THE BOTTOM!!! IS WORN OUT!!)

I heard Foreigners are hard working I guess I finally understand the concept behind it.

Because the English are notoriously bad cooks?
@ChipmunkErnie Actually, there are some good English bakers.

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays I'm sure there are a lot of good English chefs, but I was going with the stereotype just for the joke. ;)
@ChipmunkErnie You play for laughs. You belong in the Catskills. 🤣

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays Sounds good -- probably cooler in the mountains than it is here. Does the Borscht Belt still exist??
@ChipmunkErnie It's largely gone.
