is it true that 'everyone is leaving the uk'

or is this just fake news? i just saw a video on youtube titled ' why everyone is leaving the uk, & you should too)'

and it made me a bit concerned as i'm patriotic to this country, i'm what you call a 'little englander' and i will never leave the uk, it is my home until the end!

but at the same time i wouldn't want every other british person to leave the uk and me be left on my own with the immigrant population.

what do you think? should i worry or not?

It feels more and more like a rerun of the 1970s to me with the likelihood of higher inflation and higher unemployment at the same time.

I know people that have moved abroad typically Spain or France to work there from home, with UK employers and have a higher standard of living there. With modern technology for many job roles that can easily be done and isn't something that new. Having said that it doesn't currently look to be a rosy future for France or for Germany either. I don't know about Spain currently. Nor do I think everyone British is in a position to leave the UK or would want to do that.

I do remember at one point in the 1970s some hospital consultants rather than working weekends at extra payment to clear UK waiting lists were flying to France or Germany over a weekend because they could earn more doing operations there than in the UK. I'm not sure how tax laws have changed with respect to monies earned abroad and left abroad between then and now though, but I do think that higher pay for the junior doctors eroding differentials between them and the Consultants may see that happening again in this decade.

I don't see Labour or the Conservatives improving things across the UK or even the Lib Dems or Greens, nor do I think that Nigel Farage is either a Thatcher or a Blair waiting in the wings to improve everything.

I just think everything is getting worse at the moment - as I said it feels like a re-run of the bad old days in the 1970s.
