SWeeps who are British: What does this phrase mean?

It’s my round.
SpudMuffin · 61-69, M
It means it's my turn to buy everyone a drink.

Hang on... are you me?

We should be SW friends, mate!

Is going to the pub quite common in the UK?
@SpudMuffin
SpudMuffin · 61-69, M
@SW-User it used to be common, but now only the King can afford it. He does stand his round though.
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
I’m paying for the round of drinks!!

Do you ever enjoy beer now?
@Quimliqer
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
@SW-User Oh yes, but I buy a 6 pack and bring it home!
SpudMuffin · 61-69, M

TheOriginalCandy · 22-25, F
It means to buy/get another set of alcoholic drinks or non-alcoholic drinks for a group of people. Somebody bought the previous 'round' and you, or somebody else, is getting the next.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
In Canada that means you are buying this round of drinks. Commonly heard in bars across the land.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
You have a lot of money to burn.
