@Barny52 personally, I believe that the British people are the one's that voted to leave asa majority, . the referendum was called by cameron. Yes Farrage certainly was one the main protagonists for leave vote but it ultimately the choice of the British

@Zenbra they bought the lie that F and others espoused, that their lives were a bit shit all because of the EU, rather than the fact that employers have spent the last 30+ years siphoning bigger and bigger profits into the hands of the few, whilst holding wages down and eroding workers' rights (gig economy, zero hours contacts...).

The bit they missed was that F and others are funded to push that lie, and the EU is actually a strong force for workers rights, minimum wages etc, and therefore not the enemy here.

As someone who's relatively wealthy, relatively intelligent and relatively old, I can afford to shrug my shoulders and not really care, but I chose not to as I can see the burning injustice of it all and genuinely worry about the willingness of "the elite" to burn literally everything (including the planet!) at the altar of profit (or more accurately, greed) 🤷‍♂️
