@Entwistle In the UK, each and every prime minister is a bit worse than his or her predecessor. Brown > Cameron > May > Johnson > Truss? 😏

@Entwistle @helenS She will be a monumental failure to be worse than Johnson easily the worst in living memory and I remember Thatcher.

@GeniUs The first British PM I remember is Tony Blair. I must have been 12 or so when he was elected.
It's interesting that Truss [u]and[/u] May were not elected by popular vote, as far as I know.

@helenS Blair was bad in his own way, a very successful PM but made that way by spending money the country did not have, then dumping the responsibility in Gordon Brown's lap. He was probably corrupt too but all the expense files were destroyed so nobody will ever know who was on the swindle. These are the things I remember about Blair's reign.

@GeniUs Thank you – I remember everyone here was outraged when Blair made the UK participate in Bush's war in Irak.
