The British "nanny state" is at it again

Here in England a heatwave has been forecast prompting the Government to issue a "heat health" warning. Seriously! Part of the warning is to keep cool and drink plenty. Surely that's just common sense. We don't need to be told. For heaven's sake just leave us alone

@DDonde I'm not arguing with you. I and countless other UK citizens are fed up of being told what we should and shouldn't do , what we should and shouldn't say. Alerts for this , warnings for that. I just want to be left alone by this nanny state. Simple as that

@SW-User People need to be reminded about the dangers of heat, of skin cancer, etc. These can save lives.
