@SW-User Have to invade somebody to conquer them. The Germanic English invaded what is now England, then invaded Ireland and Scotland. English and later British forces invaded India, much of Africa, New Zealand, Australia, North America, many islands throughout the world, Afghanistan, Tibet, China, and probably more I can't think of.
