Possibly his indictment on some serious charges would help to a certain degree. It will lead to a landslide of indictments against Russian agents in the USA of which Trump and much of the GOP are, so that would help our cause against Russian aggression. Our current GOP is as much a danger to sovereignty as Russia, China and Iran are.

(Axios) A Republican strategist was sentenced Friday to 18 months in prison for his role in helping funnel illegal foreign campaign contributions from a Russian national into former President Trump's 2016 campaign, per the Department of Justice.

Driving the news: Jessie Benton, a former senior aide to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), orchestrated a scheme to conceal the illegal foreign donation with another GOP political advisor.

@Ynotisay yes!! I feel there is a movement to stop tolerating the GOP from a thinking out of the box approach, partly fueled by the realities around Russian aggression and what’s on the horizon (NATO countries attacked by Russia).
