@metaldog as opposed to the current method of funding a perpetual war that's taking a heavy toll on both sides with no end in sight? people are going on about "oh, but Russia can't possibly hold out much longer...", You mean like the cold war, or The Battle of Stalingrad in ww2?

At what point does the current cost become so high that people are forced to consider another option? How long must the war continue, 5 years, 10 years, 20? How many casualties, a million? ten million? more?

At what point is the alternative less costly than Ukraine being completely reduced to rubble, and it's pastures being completely filled with graves?
