Why has the pro-Ukrainian media been so hush-hush bout the latest onslaught by the Wagner mercenaries?

Zelenskyy is going down.

Not in the UK. We've had pretty comprehensive coverage of the latest Russian aggression against Ukraine. They seem to be using mercenaries and released criminals to attack the Ukrainian people, unfortunately with some success.
Hopefully Ukraine will repel them and free their country.
@helensusanswift Free their country? Doesnt look like you are aware of all the facts. The people in the Donbass region have already voted overwhelmingly in support of Russia. Donbass is no longer apart of Ukraine. The people have spoken.

@RocktheHouse I suspect the 'election' was massively rigged. The Russians invaded a sovereign nation to impose their rule and make it a Russian colony.

@helensusanswift "Success" yes.If taking 3 months to advance about 10 miles to occupy a few farmers fields and a small mining town, then the Russian blitzkrieg is storming.

@wonkywinky At present, Russia occupied a broad swathe of Ukraine, from Crimea northwards. Their advance has slowed, but so has the Ukrainian counter attack. In a war of attrition, which this conflict seems to have become, the side with the greater numbers or the stronger will has the advantage. Russia has greater numbers, and only time will tell who has the stronger will.

@helensusanswift Its not WW1 though.Russia has no stomach for this war,its troops are yellow, ill prepared, and illequipped.Under fire they melt away, all of them are now manning static positions, once the Ukrainian attack comes with big tanks they will dissolve, and flee.I dont blame them,no-one in Russia wants the war, least alone the poor saps they are sending.

@wonkywinky No, it's not the First World War. At present it's limited to a war within Ukraine, in which Russia continues to occupy Ukrainian territory and kill Ukrainian civilians. In that they have had success.

@wonkywinky The Russian troops have no motivation to invade a country they don't care about, alternatively, the Ukrainian troops are fighting for their freedom and homeland.

@JimboSaturn Indeed- yet the Russians are still 0ccupying between 10 and 15 percent of Ukraine
