holy shit, I finally understand why the Russians have been destabilizing the power supply of that nuclear power plant, & why Ukraine has been fighting

I don't think it's even about controlling the energy grid. If they take it off the Ukrainian grid and make its cooling systems reliant on Russian infrastructure, that means Russia can demand protected supply lines up to the plant to ensure a fuel supply, otherwise risk a nuclear disaster in Ukraine.
