US spending to counter Russian war effort exceeds first 5 years of war costs in Afghanistan. I wonder what other countries are contributing and what this is actually accomplishing.

The money isn't going to arm or defend Ukraine. Ukraine is and has been for years a huge money laundering operation. You send them a wad of cash and for a small handling fee they forward the money to the project of your liking up to and including giving a large portion of it back to your personal bank account wherever that may be. You don't think Biden got rich on a senators salary do you?
