Absolutely true that Putin will ramp up the war in Ukraine until he gets complete control. However, I don't think that he will use nuclear weapons.

I hope you are right. I worry that too many people are projecting their own wishes and have no knowledge or expertise into Putin’s objectives or willingness to win at all costs.

Putin is extremely dangerous. And part of his strategy is to divide and conquer.
