Puppycino...WTF

I read a piece in the paper about the earthquake in Turkey and Syria and the huge death toll and families who have lost, literally, everything. Heart breaking. I went for a walk and passed a Dog Shop which offerred "puppycinos with a treat for your most treasured friend"...£3.50. The contrast between the earthquake victims and this disgusting consumerism made me feel sick.

I really don't understand why just this type of commercialism is that upsetting.

Yes, commercialism is terrible. Yes, something should be done about it.

Yet commercialism is so prevalent in every little thing that it just can't be avoided.

Heck, if they could get away with it, they would advertise air for goldfish. And take as much money that they can get.

Everything revolves around advertising. Especially this site that that you are posting on, or ANYTHING you find on Google which is nothing more than a advertising bulletin board. 🤷🏻‍♂️
