I Have Been to Turkey

The land, the culture and the history will always remain the same. The government and people change over time. If we stop going to another country just its politics is not good no one will be travelling. My personal opinion. When I go to Turkey, I go to museum, I eat the food, I dance folklore with locals, I don't go to their congress building. Again my personal opinion :)

Strawberrymilk I'm not into politics, all politicians are hypocrites. It's so sad to judge the beauty of a country upon its politics.

true people change... i personally wouldnt have visited germany between 1933 and 1945 though, even though it has great landscapes, history and culture...

its just that the people at that time were kinda assholes like they are now in turkey

I've been there too is was disheartening to see the tanks on the bridge over the Bosporus and fighting in the street of the city I love so much.

Well you're young. If you don't like people now, you still have time, maybe things will change and you will enjoy the beauty of Turkey

No, I've been to Turkey, Morocco (Actually grew up there) and Libya YEARS before the war. India is on my bucket list. One day.
