do you believe in revenge and never forgiving?

Protecting oneself and one’s honour, mind, wealth and religion is a well-established basic principle in Islam. These are the five essentials which are well known to Muslims. A person has to defend himself; it is not permissible for him to consume that which will harm him, and it is not permissible for him to allow anyone to harm him. If a person or a vicious animal etc attacks him, he has to defend himself, or his family or his property, and if he is killed he is counted as a shaheed (martyr).islam has the concept of self defense even every religion or every law in the world.

Yeah indeed love and forgiveness has no limits. This is truly a beautiful hadith i am sharing. Very touching. Many non Muslims think our religion is too hard and that we view Allah as only to be feared. Wheras, in reality Islam combines an equal amount of Love, Fear, and Hope. We are only humans so inevitably we will make mistakes and sin from time to time. Often, we tend to despair when we commit a sin. But Alhamdullilah, our forgiveness is only a prayer away. We don’t need any intercessors. We don’t have to pray to anyone else. We have a direct link.
On the authority of Anas, who said: I heard the messenger of Allah say:

Allah the Almighty has said: “O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as its.”

I disagree that a person must defend his honor or wealth. If someone destroys my honor or takes my wealth, then maybe I don't need either, and if I do, then God will restore them. But there is no need for me to defend wealth or honor, that is selfishness. On the other hand, I would defend my family, because that is love,....... but I would not excessively defend my property for the sake of my family, because me and my family will be provided for by God.
