I express my deepest condolences for the death of Maria Spinelli, the young Italian woman killed in the tragic shooting in Aarau, Switzerland.
My thoughts are also with the others who were injured, including two Italian nationals, and everyone affected by this dramatic incident. We are closely following developments through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and our diplomatic representations, trusting that the work of the Swiss authorities will shed full light on what happened and identify those responsible.
