A perfect example

of an attempt to bully came out of a forum in Korea this week. The Philippine defence chief accused Beijing there of "bullying", alleging he was handed a Chinese note at the international forum that asserted China's expansive claims over contested waters. The said Gilberto Teodoro was on stage for a panel discussion at the Seoul Defence Dialogue on Tuesday when he received a paper from what appeared to be an event staffer...

It reminded me again of what happens here on SW daily. How many times have you seen an atheist post on a Christian forum a question like "So what's wrong with idolatry or temple prostitution? It's not exploitive. I'll tell you what: it's not fashionable yet." I wonder if people on here can still read, nevertheless the obvious bullying does persist. How many more on here need to suffer the continued insults? It's not only highly disrespectful but shows up a lack of overall decency.

It is a given that many of us, myself included, believe what we believe and think what we think, without any admissible-in-court evidence that someone opposed will accept.

It is also true that some people just need to be right, whether or not they can prove their position.

It is a dead giveaway when somebody uses attack mode in a debate. It’s not a logical or provable argument. Volume and insults do not win arguments of reason. It’s not a display of strength. It reveals weakness.

@Mamapolo2016 Personally, I have the right to be treated as someone who relies on evidence gained out of study and direct experience, and does not need to believe in anything less despite of conjuring or lies. Plenty of people lie on here, even if they believe what they believe. For one, when someone posts an untruth about the RC church after Vatican II, well, then I like to correct them.

It's also true that some people don't dare to speak a word on here. Somehow everyone is silent. Why? Too many believers that believe, instead of actually coming across with decent argumentation. The insults are many, especially for Christians on here. Somehow one doesn't need to treat that as normal. Why do atheists post mean replies on a forum for Christians? Wouldn't have happened on EP, no.

It's indeed a dead giveaway that one can't just accept injury nor insult. I've been told to take my pills when I wanted to share something really personal. I actually cornered that individual on here later on in a similar situation, and he gave me his apologies. He didn't change his ways though. But then again one can still say, think and be whatever in my own country. That I know also.

Perhaps it's really because someone in the past stood up and actually made a point to protest injustice that I'm free now. Yes, I think that's more right. Otherwise I do harm to all my family members who were in the resistance in World War Two, and anyone else that I know who told me not to accept bullies and call them out whenever. Yes, I think so. That bears more fruit. Greetings to you.
