China can afford to wait until Trump implodes all by himself.
@Maturebate On the other hand, if China went for Taiwan now, it would take a considerable amount of time before USA could move their assets into place.. They may not even bother with Trump in charge. Just let China take it, who cares, Taiwan didn't send any troops to Iran either and besides Trump needs some rest, not American casualties.
