I Love South Korea

So China is trying to get their hands on S. Korea.

With the US asking to pay more for security personnel in S. Korea, China sign a "defense agreement" with S. Korea to stick their noses at the West.

A recent survey by the Korea Institute for National Reunification showed that 96% of Koreans are opposed to Seoul paying more for the US military presence.

But calling this a "defense agreement" is like calling a glass of water the Pacific Ocean. All China is doing so far from what I know is installing a few phone lines and other minor things.

We may never know what might happen down the line but not exactly the way I want Korea to be unified.

I am not sure what the United States gets out of defending countries that are a) ungrateful and b) fully capable of defending themselves.
SW-User
@Abrienda 1) We are grateful and paid off 90 percent of that debt you asked for so far

2) We can defend ourselves against the North. We can't defend ourselves against China, Russia, and their allies. We are not that big if you noticed.

I would like it if both the US and China stopped meddling with our peace negotiations.
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@SW-User Oh I see...grateful for the US to stop meddling in your affairs which you seem unable to conduct without the help of the United States in the first place.

I am not an American but when you pay 100 PERCENT of your debt I will be impressed. Until then you are just a debtor.
SW-User
@Abrienda The US was to keep China and N. Korea from getting a hold of the South. They have tried but kept failing. So we are taking a hold of it and it goes well but both China and US keep screwing something over.

We'll pay it off. 10 percent of debt is not much compared to what the US has.
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@SW-User Right. The United States "failed" you...I see.

What was that you were saying about "gratitude"? Doesn't take much for your mask to slip, does it?

Meanwhile please be so kind as to send a PM or some communication to the relatives of the over 40,000 US soldiers who died defending your country about how the US "failed" to keep China and North Korea from "getting a hold of it" so YOU took over the task.

And we are not TALKING about the debt the US owes ITSELF but the blood debt YOU owe the US. Or is this another example of showing your "gratitude" by making that snarky comment?
SW-User
@Abrienda Negotiation wise, yes. The US was and still unable to bring around unification.

As for the war, thank you for being on our side but this is not what it's about.

Since the US is not working to unify Korea, we are getting a hold of it and trying to unify ourselves without the US and China.
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@SW-User Right. Well if YOU represent South Korean "gratitude" then I agree the US should stop "interfering in your affairs" and withdraw its troops and aircraft and missiles immediately and let you "take care of it" yourself alongside your historic chums the Japanese.

Then maybe you will learn the meaning of the word INgratitude. So good luck with that!
SW-User
@Abrienda You don't know foreign affairs much hahaha S. Korea and the Japanese hate each other. Hahaha
Oster1 · M
@Abrienda Thank you for that comment. I really appreciate that!🤗
SW-User
Honestly, it's opinion like these that makes many in the South want to side with China.

If it ever happens, the US will lose out
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@SW-User NO FOOLING? I was being SARCASTIC, boob! As I wrote if you don't want the Americans "meddling" in your affairs, pay your debts (you have only had 70 years to do it in, after all) then call in your old friends the Japanese … I am sure they can find a Hideyoshi or two still on the island to pay you a visit.

Let's just say ironic humor is not a Korean attribute, shall we...

As for my "not knowing" foreign affairs, at 23 I have already FORGOTTEN more than you will ever know, believe me.
SW-User
@Abrienda we'll get it paid off. That's not a problem.

Japanese are allies with the US if you "forgotten". We want nothing to do with them at this time.

I wish China would give the US a time limit to pay off it's debt to see how fast they drop to their knees.
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@SW-User Guess you are a slow reader. I write you I am NOT an American. And cut he crap - you were "siding" with China long before you made this post - didn't get my reference that "your mask" was slipping, did you?

But BY ALL MEANS join with China. I cannot think of a people who deserve such a fate more than you. THEN you will learn what THEY do to ingrates like you and your countrymen.
SW-User
@Abrienda I know you aren't American. You told me this on my previous profile before you blocked me hahaha

I don't side with China but what the US is doing isn't any better. You're the one that has a hard time reading.

You obviously don't know the impact of what a unified Korea would have. If we weren't so important, the two biggest super powers wouldn't be fighting over us.
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@SW-User Yes you were a moron then and you still are - time has not helped you one bit. But if you knew that why should 'my attitude" affect whether you side with China or not?

Personally I don't give a damn if all South Korea slipped into the sea of Japan. I only care about the United States and Central Europe and ingrates like yourself who take advantage of the former, biting the hand that keeps you safe since you are unwilling to do it yourself.
SW-User
@Abrienda I am not going to get off topic like you are but thank you for taking off your mask and showing you never cared to begin with.

So why comment? This news has nothing to do with you. Plus you proven to know nothing that is actually going on besides thumping, "The US is always correct" line.

I love my country and just want the best future for it and I also want a unification of Korea.
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@SW-User Five years of Europe is worth more than 500 of Korea … North AND South!👋
SW-User
@Abrienda I was in Europe and studied there. It's not as great as your making it.

And I live and work in the US. I can guarantee I am more informed than you are.
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@SW-User I live there sweetheart. I am European. But you are just another American hating foreigner living a lifestyle in the USA he/she/it could never have in their native land. You are proof that the Americans really DO need to do better background checks on the people they let in their country.

And I commented cause I hate it when people like you who owe their very freedom to the United States show their ingratitude.

You studied in Europe? Where? Sorry, Albania or Bosnia isn't "Europe." And what did you study - Advanced Floor Cleaning? Existential Fruit Picking?

Go to bed loser.
SW-User
@Abrienda Yep. Here's my Facebook albums

I grew up in the US and have probably traveled to more places than you have.
SW-User
@Abrienda I like to thank you for allowing me to show of my traveles with you. I can also post albums of my traveles in the U.S., China, S. Korea, Hong Kong, Signapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia if you are still interested
