I Am Korean (south)

You would think as a Korean, I should know everything related to my race. Apparently not. A student brought up Susan Ahn Cuddy. I didn't know who she was so I had to google and read about her.

Wonder why I was never told about this amazing woman when I was young.

When you really think about this...that at least part of her motivation was protecting her native land (and her adopted one) from the Japanese...

...then you have to wonder...

Which one individual may have tipped the scales between victory and defeat?

@Mamapolo2016 Exactly. She was so deeply motivated and smart. I have to really dig about her after work later but it's amazing what she is after reading a bit.

@SW-User I had not heard of her before your story, but so cool. To be a woman in the 40's and push to become not only a Naval Officer, but also work in Intelligence, and all while being Asian on top! She must have been an amazing woman. Thanks for posting this about her.
