Is South Africa committing genocide?

They say that white farmers are being disproportionately murdered in South Africa. Does the state want this? Are they complicit? Do they support it? Are they indifferent?

It's not real. It's an old conspiracy theory brought back from like ten years ago.
There is a lot of crime in South Africa, a lot of farmers get killed, but white farmers aren't disproportionately targeted.
