Scottish beau next door

A new neighbour moved in about two months ago and he’s from Scotland. Ginger hair, bluish-grey eyes 😍 In my area, we hardly see anyone besides dark hair and dark eyes, so he definitely stands out.

We usually just say hello when we pass each other. But last night, he had an issue with his access card, and the guards couldn’t really communicate in English. I was about to head out when I heard the commotion, so I offered to help translate.

Oh, that accent 🫠 I could listen to him talk all day. He doesn’t know it yet, but in my head, we already have two girls, a dog, and a cat.

Problem is, I’m terrible at flirting or making the first move. He seems reserved and a bit “moody” at first glance.. maybe that’s a Scottish thing? Any tips on approaching someone like him? I don’t want to make him uncomfortable.

I am from a big city and my views are to be cautious, don't want to end up on someones plate.
If he is interested in you, he should make himself known. Just be there when he does.
@MisterBander I will need a huge, obvious clue on this one. Besides being terrible at flirting, I can be completely oblivious when someone is subtly trying to make the first move
@BetweenLines When he sees you, he will rush over to say hello. He may stand a little too close. If he looks your way and then away, well, not much else to say there.
