The week just rushes by, don't you think?
I have been here in Lisbon helping my Dad help me with stuff, now he's away I just got the notification that the stuff from my business in London will be available today for me to collect. Dad has someone who does all this kind of thing for him but I can't remember who it is. I've texted him to call me, but he's either on the autoroute or he's with one of his appointments. I've been into his office, a place we were never allowed to play when we were children, and although there is an order to everything, I can't find out who the guys are he uses.
Although my Dad is a rabbi, he has various investments which he gets involved with as time allows, he's a shareholder and officer of several companies here in Lisbon. I'm sure the guys I am looking for are one of those businesses, so I need to just work my way through them, so it might be something I can do without having to wait for him to contact me. I can try at least, I would like to get the sewing machine set up before Shabbat if possible, it would give me something to focus on Sunday, and to begin catching up with any orders. I am sure there are some, I put a notice on the website to say I was relocating the business, that it would mean a ten days delay in returning any orders, subject to stock.
My business bank account is another place I can check on deposits, but I have just kept myself isolated to effect the relocation, so I am not aware of this either. It won't take long to set everything up once I have the stuff here, the supply downstairs is exactly what is necessary for the sewing machine, and we have adaptors for the plug sockets. If only I could find out the guys Dad uses.
