The fact that Palestine has been recognized as a state in this current state of events is nothing more than virtue signaling. Ireland, Spain, and Norway could have recognized it years ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if after this war is over, these countries will forget about Gaza and the West Bank.

The "recognition" is a political statement with no real effect in the world?
RedBaron · M
That’s incredibly long. Why don’t you summarize it “in a nutshell?”

@CountScrofula I think it's another account of the Eastern European catfish. She tends to post about expensive travel, model photos, Wikipedia articles, defense of Israel and nudism.

@basilfawlty89 Ahahahahaha YES. I'm glad she's branched out to political trolling.

And why can't they?
Unless you're aiming for a one state solution, in which Jewish people become a minority in their own country, or have to commit genocide or Eth if cleansing to expel the Palestinians, the only way forward is a two state solution.

That means countries are free to recognise Palestine if they want. And yes, the pre-67 borders, because the settlements in the West Bank and Golan Heights (which is Syrian territory) is ILLEGAL.

@basilfawlty89 Try telling the Palestinians that!
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@Dabre telling them what? Last I checked they're trying hard not to get wiped out, or kicked out of their own homes.

How can any states “recognise “ Palestine

in reality, they can't. but, it's the topic du jour and minor states are jumping on the bandwagon
