Imagine the following hypothetical Palestine scenario

[quote]I often wonder about the following hypothetical question. Let's say it wasn't Jews who migrated to Palestine but rather an equal number of Muslims from the Indian subcontinent fleeing British-ruled India -- a people with a different language, different culture, and members of a different race. Would the indigenous Arabs in Palestine have also viewed these Indian Muslims as "intruders" as the Jews were viewed?

I doubt it. Same way your typical MAGA feels threatened by immigrants from Central America, but wouldn't feel equally threatened by immigrants from Norway (if there was some disaster there pushing them to flee to the US).

I'm not aware of any resistance on the part of Pakistani Muslims to the influx of Indian Muslims after the Partition, any more than Germans resisted the influx of German refugees from Poland after World War Two.
@LeopoldBloom The Hebrew bible doesn't mention the Muslims, for obvious reasons. While the Koran curses Jews -- which is interesting because modern Palestinians deny Jews' ancient connection to Palestine. Kind of nonsensical.
