Could a superpower back the Palestinians in order to engage the US in the middle east and exhaust their strength?

Would that be a good idea?

All they have to do to bring the US to it's knees is to strip the dollar as the world's reserve currency.
I don't know how that works or who "they" is, but I'm surprised it hasn't been done yet.

@LoneVoice "They " is the Chinese, backed by the Saudis, being currently drawn into the "BRICS" group...And the chinese are already striking individual deals in Yuan..The real crunch will come when they demand something other than $US for exports to the US..And put American industry to the sword..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman That's the way I understand it as well. But when it comes to economics, everything I think I know turns out to be backwards. 😆

@LoneVoice The trouble with economics is that it is perfect, until you add people. Then it goes to hell..Its only the creativity of greedy people that have kept the US afloat since the turn of the century. But the Chinese have learned fast.. And their centralised economy means they can do more, faster and for longer...😷
