New coalition in New Zealand

@KiwiBird New Zealand is fortunate in one respect. The economy is so small that it is swept along with the tide, rahter than trying to create one of its own. I get that may not sound wonderful. But it does mean the nations policies cant dig a hole so deep it cant be climbed out of, like larger economies that move on their own momentum, until the wheels fall off.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman The meme in context is a commentary on the incoming three party coalition centre right government hell bent on winding back a number of progressive improvements the previous Labour government had brought in. It actually has nothing to do with the economy. I do however take your point....the NZ economy on a world stage is small given the five million population.

@KiwiBird Yep. But a nation like NZ has to pay for its policies. It cant just print more money with impunity like America. So social policy follows the economy...😷
