I Am Dutch

I am Danish and I have noticed that many Americans but also other English speaking people belive that Dutch is the language spoken in Denmark.
This can be a little annoying for a Dane but I wonder how a Dutch person feels about so many people believing that her language is the language of another country than the Netherlands.

It is funny.
I assume that you are referring to the singer and songwriter who calls herself MØ?
Mø is an old word deriving from the old-Norse word mær (maer), originallly the Gothic word mawi.
Mø means a young, unmarried woman; a virgin. Today the word is used almost only poetically.
